Charlene and her company, Daily Living Personal Care have always been there to visit my grandma everytime we need her. We have been with Daily Living Personal Care for 6 years now. Grandma enjoys her outings shopping or going for walks, and the gentle massage and nailcare on the days she doesn't feel up to go out. The staff does the upkeep and cleaning at grandma's as well. I have been working with Charlene at Daily Living Personal Care for just over a month now. The first conversation I had with Charlene was the first time I felt any hope in two years. I was in need of services for someone who needed special care and needs that only Charlene was willing to take on. Charlene and her staff are kind, compassionate, professional and very accommodating. My mom had major health conditions physically and was sent from the hospital into long term care. It was Government ran and we were told it was the “ Creme de la Creme “ of health care for those who needed care. WRONG!!!!
What we were not aware of was the lack of one to one my mom was receiving. We looked high and low for ideas and felt totally deflated and confused. It was wearing on all of us, emotionally, physically and mentally.
We later were horrified to find out mom was the victim of neglect and abuse. She wasn’t eating, looked gaunt, depressed. We immediately pulled her out and felt so bad. How do you trust a system that’s broken?
We happened to hear about Daily Living Personal Care, and thought we would connect. With our first meeting of connecting with Charlene and staff we knew it was more than a perfect fit. She went above and beyond to educate and explain the process. Design a plan that would accommodate for my mom and dad. The staff is outstanding and work hard to provide service. Well organized and punctual. Mom had more colour in her face, looked great and was so happy to be amongst her surroundings and family.
It was a total game changer.
Don’t waste your time with the Government ran care homes. Get private - Try Daily Living Personal Care! They are lovely!!

We are very grateful to Charlene for the care she provides and the flexibility as needs arise. She isn't worried about specific scheduling, but bases the hours on the necessary care. My aunt was unwell one time and probably would have had to go to hospital so she wouldn't be alone, but an email to Charlene had someone there for two nights until she was feeling better. As I live in another province, that security is most appreciated.
